Hmmm!!! curious and curious....It was just revealed (amongst other things) that Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow himself, Kit Harrington, was joining the MCU in a secret film role. So I’m assuming that he’ll be introduced in one of the upcoming films as Marc Spector (I had to wiki his alias) and than transition him over to the TV series. If that’s the case, which upcoming film would it be?

Would've expected a Moon Knight series to end up on Hulu, not Disney+.

If Harrington's playing Marc Spector (looking at the current slate), it'd likely be Black Widow. Spector being a former Marine, turned CIA agent, turned soldier of fortune. It'd make more sense than him appearing in Eternals or Thor Love & Thunder.

Just that fast... It’s been revealed that Kit Harington will be in The Eternals They probably just started pre-production for Moon Knight and the other series announced so, casting is still a few weeks/months away.

May Calamawy (Hulu's Ramy) has nabbed a key role in the series...which is set to start production in Budapest this March.

As she's said to be playing a key role... Perhaps she'll be Marlene Alraune?

Ethan Hawke has joined the cast as the villain of the series. Moon Knight’s main nemesis is considered to be a fellow mercenary named Bushman who turned on the hero when Egyptian gold came into the picture but, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the villain is still to be determined.

Surprised to see Hawke doing a superhero show (given his past comments on the genre). Doubt he'll play Raul Bushman (as Bushman is a black character).

Well that shouldn’t really matter as long as they get the essence of the character right. There have been many instances where a character was a different race or even sex in the comics and/or prior works (e.g. famously Nick Fury; on the DC side with Flash’s West Family). As long as it’s not essential to what the character has always been.

Those were white characters changed to black. When you do it the other way around, you end up with a whitewashing controversy. Hollywood has a long history of whitewashing (and straightwashing, among other things), which includes cases within quite recent history. With Marvel Studios commitment to diversity, it would seem weird for them to decide to change a black guy into a white guy.

At the moment, there is no word on whom Hawke will be playing. Moon Knight has plenty of other villains. Hawke could be Black Spectre, Shadow Knight, or anyone else.

It didn’t even occur to me until you said it. It wouldn’t be right to cast him in the role.
