Hmmmm....I don't know how I felt about this episode. I gave it a 7 though. It started off really good, and to me the whole episode has a season 1 feel to it (hunting down the monster of the week and all). I like how they're showing Dean growing more and more desperate as time is winding down. He's really changed from the beginning of this season. From "Oh I don't care...I'll be smiling at the Gates of Hell" to "Im scared shitless, Sammy".
And call me mean, cold-hearted or what, but I actually was dissapointed when the kid didn't get hit by the truck. I figured they'd go that far but I guess not. Same goes for Dean nearly killing that man, but really it didn't make a difference. And I was doing some research (thanks wikipedia) on Crocottas and it says that they're dog/wolf-like creatures and I was hoping to see something along those lines, but then again it also says that in some legends they can change their appearance and gender and stuff. It just seemed really lame that they portrayed it as a human to me. I think the Wendigo from S1 is the closest thing to a monster we'll actually get to see on this show until they increase the budget, I guess. And I don't know if it's been explained but how did the Crocotta know about Dean's deal, seeing as how he's not a demon?
