It seems like an important episode so I'm hoping for 4.5 million. Also Survivor is usually on Thursday but is on a Wednesday today so hopefully that'll help Smallville out.

However the NCAA basketball games are happening so CBS may be broadcasting them which may steal a bunch of viewers or some CW stations may broadcast them because didn't some not see Hero last week because of that?

Do any Smallville fans get into NCAA basketball? I'd hoped there were more guys like me who love superheroes but never got into sports. Am I alone in the world? I would pick Smallville over something I'd actually LIKE to watch (but if it was "Chuck" I'd have to tape it.)

God I hope the ratings are good. This is one of the best episodes of the series and for it to be crap ratings-wise would be a huge blow.

The CW has improved from the previous week by a few hundred thousand viewers, "Traveler" was promoted well (from what I saw), and it had a great trailer, so all of that will hopefully lead to some more viewers.

OTOH, every single major network is airing something new tonight at 8et. Like I said in the "Persona" thread, though, sometines SV actually does better with more competition.

I just hope we can see an improvement from last week.
