This is very much like last season. After Reckoning, the ratings declined. This year, it's Justice for whatever reason. As long as the beginning of the 7th season gets higher ratings, just like the beginning of season's 5 and 6, that's all that matters.Comment

^It went way down after Promise (huge dip) and the 2 long breaks IMO.Last edited by Bosrudorfer; 05-11-2007, 10:03 AM.Comment

WOW! We are losing viewers.
The higher rated episodes were Guest stars/Highly action packed episode. This is sad.
Hydro - Freak were an amazing string of episodes. They didn't hold the momentum... This is ending up like last season...
Something needs to be done. When you fall into the 3 million range things aren't good. Coming from Smallville who had one of the top premieres on the network, ever...Comment

Not a happy camper...
Lower ratings = less money.
less money = even more BS about "budget cuts"
Budget concerns = crappy storylines
Crappy story lines = lower ratings
Lower ratings = unhappy kryptonian-roninComment

Let's wait for the finale moments before we get really depressed. But I would say the advertising is a little to blame for it. They had mostly been around the soap-opera aspect of the show, rather than the superman mythos. I mean, this was a Lois centric episode, full of action and it was advertised as a Clark/Lana/Lex one. The radio adds were about Clark being obsessed by Lana and Lex's love for Lana turning him bad...
Why didn't they advertise it as a building up to the finale? As Lex becoming truly evil and Clark finding out what 33.1 was about? Someone is making a huge mistake in advertising Smallville. I hope they correct it next season.Comment
