I thought it was great. WHile I was angry that Clark was the only one apologizing (Lex owes a few himself!) it was nice to see Clark do something so selfless. He never says thank you or I'm sorry (ok, he USUALLY doesn't) so it was nice to see this change of pace.

i do agree with the fact that clark backed down. i was dissappointed big time. he needed to stand his ground. clark wasnt the only one looking to make a bloodbath that night.

Clark did the right thing. He was civil to Lex despite the enmity between them.
