Is Martha an important Character now?

At first I heard that Martha would reappear later this season, but now that has changed. What happened?

Dunno...why doesn't Clark mention her anymore? She still has to amke the Supes costume, right?

How easy would it be to have clark talking on the phone to his mom, you don't even have to show her. He can be talking and someone walks in and he says "love you Mom", and then hangs up. But to not ever mention her is insane. She can't go from being a huge part of Clark's life to nothing at all.

I'm really hoping they bring her back in season 8 (with her real life husband who played Perry White)

All he has to do is zip to DC and see her...I think that the producers assume that we know that he can do this.
