And poor Veronica has trusted wrongly again... Troy turns out to be a coniving piece of garbage and Veronica is able to get revenge on him.
In these early episodes revenge is a simple thing... Veronica finds the bad guy/s and gets revenge. In this episode she steals the drugs back from Troy and flushes them away, and she gets the drug dealing gym owner arrested at the border patrol. Veronica's victories in the revenge department in these early episodes are espeically poignant given how murky the waters of revenge will get towards the end of the season. None the less.. Veronica gets her man in this episode (notice the little pun here).
Duncan is surprisingly absent in this episode and the Veronica/Logan banter has returned after their few moments of kindness in the last episode. Although the bloodlust still seems to exist between Veronica and Logan... it seems to be turning into some oddly playful and often times cruel banter (aka joking about running Logan over with her car).
Veronica's tough exterior breaks down in this episode when she finally confronts her father because he isn't searching for mommy dearest. All season Veronica's been hiding under a tough exterior, pretending that her mom is the villian and that she doesn't want her back... but here, for the first time, we see Veronica break down and we see the inner Veronica, who desperately wants her mom, come out.
