That's one of the reasons I hope, as a clois fan, that Smallville writers never touch Clark and Lois relationship.

Liana, you comfort me with your words. Clana should have been a beautiful relationship. It had the potential to be. And I agree that the writers shouldn't touch the Clois relationship; they can't seem to write a good one, besides Martha and Jonathan Kent.
