Now, I'm privy to JK's version of "A watched pot never boils". This was well written as your other works have been. It was bittersweet to find the eagerness, the anticipation, the expectancy that JK was feeling with his Sunday ritual. It's also heartrending to find the everlasting love of a father to his son. Great job! Looking forward to more of your fics.

The phone call was certainly a twist, as I did think Clark was going to run home (or fly at that point), as someone else said. Great writing! Heartwarming and touching. You really know the characters well. Very well done! You could write professionally.

Oh yeah, loved the title, too!

Rumpy, nice job! I feel Jonathon's eagerness, Martha's pleasure in it all and my own desires for a relationship like that with my own children. Do my parents really sit, waiting for my call?

I love any story that shows the bond between Jonathan and Clark.
