A tribute to the 1st season's pilot with what could've been, but also another setup to the Crisis. After seeing this, I now know why they waited a week later to start the premiere. The tragic ending was actually foreshadowed in the latest Flash episode. I think both Barry and Oliver are going to be the leaders when the Crisis comes. Also neither are aware of each other's deal with the Monitor as I expect that to be revealed in the crossover.
