Heartbreaking episode for Kara and Nia as it’s a study of sisters, where one has powers and the other had to work hard to get to their potential. We meet Nia’s family that includes her mother Isabel, her sister Maeve played by Hannah James of Outlander, and her father. Everything was fine for Nia and her family until her mother’s passing as her sister Maeve found out Nia having powers thus driving a wedge between them. It will never be the same for Nia and her family from this point on.

Meanwhile we see what the mindwipe does to Alex and her relationship with Supergirl. Alex lost her blood relationship with Supergirl, but not Kara Danvers. It does change the dynamic between them.

Supergirl’s counterpart in Russia has been training to the point of bleeding and passing out. She is an end cap on this episode in beginning and end. The Russia make a call to someone and we have a pretty good idea who.
