I wasn't really talking about this episode, but there's a lot of politics brought up in other episodes of the 10th season that were never brought up in the previous 9 seasons.

Green Arrow has always been a leftie in the comics, so you can't be suprised that he's not sharing conservative views. And I do remember the outcry during Subterranean when Clark painfully reminded everyone that he, too, is an illegal immigrant.
