Marcus Daniels is Blackout. The original, not the Ghost Rider villain. Blackout's powers will be a little different, from what they are in the comics. He'll be able to suck the energy out of anything around him.

Just one small correction: the villain played by Wes Bentley in the first "Ghost Rider" film was called Blackheart, not Blackout.

You're thinking about a completely different character. In the comics, the second Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch) had an enemy called "Blackout", who killed his sister.
