Finally caught this one. I thought Sif and Lorelai might derail the show after such fantastic episodes prior...and it did, but this derailing was quite good.
The Asgardians worked really well on a TV budget especially when Sif went to town to kick some serious ass. Her giving Coulson some literal cover whilst fighting against the biker gang was a treat. Jamie Alexander and the writing for the character did marvelously given the short screentime. Elena Satine's temptress was a bit cliched but she played it well. Still, not as good as Smallville, at least when it comes to getting those campy laughs out from a possession situation.
I liked how Sif both spared Lorelai but also "cuffed" her from using her voice. A nice callback to The Avengers, making it feel we're in the same universe with the same procedures. That said I feel like overall the show should be more intense when it comes to, well everything. More tension like Skye getting shot and possibly dying.
Still, a good episode, gave it an 8.
