if he is im guesing the reveal wont be made until after captain america 2 comes out. although how would tat impact avengers 2? if he does turn bad would he be a surprise villian in avengers 2?

From what I have been reading re: CA 2, it isn't Fury who has gone bad - it's SHIELD. My guess is that Fury is in hiding, but has reached out to Mae and has asked her to keep an eye on things in Coulson's group, specifically Coulson.

No, I think May is doing what she was ordered to do by SHIELD, keep tabs on Coulson. That would be in line with the discussion her and Sif had about duty versus doing what you think is right and why Sif did not just and kill Loreli.

She could be working with Fury but I doubt it.
