I liked this episode the best of the "filler-ish" episodes....always love to see Jodi....and Dean knows about her date with Roderick

Felt like old Supernatural....loved it actually.

I liked the episode. I actually think I haven't found one episode bad this season, if you view them isolated they're good. The thing is, the plot is moving really slowly. We're practically at the same place that at the beggining of the season.

We don't know where this season is headed yet. I think they need a goal, I thought curing demons was it but they are waiting for Crowley to spill everything. They are more reactive than proactive, I liked that part more in S8. I hope they find something in the tablets or make a plan to stop the angels, or something.

I think next episode will give us that direction....so, Dean knows about Crowley and the human blood? I'm wondering if Prophet blood is better than human blood in Crowley's case? Also, we are seeing some issues with Sam develop over the past few episodes, even though they were filler-ish. In the beginning Sam was very healthy and almost too much so....running before breakfast, etc. Now, he's dragging around and obviously not "recharging" from sleep. The MOTW said he was dead inside, held together with "duct tape and safety pins." And, Zeke was obviously giving Dean a warning....back off. Zeke is not healing Sam IMO, I think he's draining him. At this point we don't know why.

Dean is obviously ready to tell Sam....Zeke will not allow him to. Zeke is also very much in the forefront of Sam....pretty quick timing on Zeke's part to stop Dean mid-confession, huh? Zeke is still hiding from the other angels....Sam probably indeed died in the hospital and what Sam is experiencing is more or less decomposition (I know, eeewww).

Although I want full-on story arc episode after episode, if we had our wish, the series would have ended 5 years ago....LOL The mid-season cliffy and hellatus is upon us soon, so, according to Jared, it's epic.

          Best episode ever!

Although I don't like how they're killing more gods than lucifer did. That seems unlikely to me that all the gods would fall to one set of hunters in the same generation after living for millennia. Also, is it not dumb to the max how there's kill methods on the internet for all these gods of the ancient world who were NEVER killed before? (So how would anyone know how to successfully kill them each with slightly different weapons, as if this stuff had all been tested out already and proven effective? Especially odd considering these gods are all still alive in the mythos, and never had past generations of gods had anything to fear from human hunters.) Also, why are all the gods such dips? You'd think some of them would be cool. Vesta was an excellent opportunity for them to turn a new leaf in terms of a 'warmer' personality for one of these gods. I like everything about the episode, right up until they revealed their casting choice for the goddess and she started mouthing off with the same 'tude they've given us previously with loads of repetivive gods. Let's have some diversity among the forgotten deity community is all I'm asking.

I really liked this episode, Dean with that girl, that was funny haha,
I was really hoping Dean would tell Sam about Zeke, but guess that's gonna have to wait.

This episode had some good, some bad, for me.

I enjoyed that the girl at the start was smart and had a taser.

Sam falling asleep at the table. Hmmm, is Zeke using his body at night for his own purposes? The return of Sheriff Mills. Always nice to see Jody. Her face when they revealed that angels are real? She met a God once and she's balking at angels?

The scene with the boys signing the chastity pledge was hilarious. Jared live tweeted and mentioned that that was the first time 'on screen' we'd ever seen the boys sign their real names for anything. Cool. Also, flashback to Monster Movie. *wink*

That manhole set looked familiar. Was it the one from "No Exit"?

Ha, the lady taking extra cookies, the girl upset about Honor being the fave. All very cute stuff.

So this thing is taking virgins who break their chastity vows. And Dean's a goner.

Dean going home with the girl, hoping to get lucky but instead she cries. Then the reveal that she was a porn star and Dean gets to cross someone off his bucket list.

Vesta, eh? Lots of Gods lately. The "what the fudge, lady?" line reminded me of the first Gods the boys crossed paths with.

Sam to the rescue and poor Jody gets stabbed. Then Vesta lets Sam in on what's going on with him (well, sort of) and Jody gets to take out her first God. Can't believe no one commented on that. I loved that it was Jody who got to take out the big bad this time around.

Those final scenes. Dean about to tell Sam, Zeke pops out to stop him, and the secret gets kept. The way Zeke is acting, coupled with the fact that Sam should at least be healing by now, makes me think Zeke's up to no good (which bums me out cause I really thought he was a good guy when he was introduced).

So yeah, I liked Jody and the stuff with the boys and all that but I felt Vesta was a bit of a let down (how many times are we going to the 'pagan gods are all evil/suck' well?).
