  • Why did Martha put the deed in both Clark & Lois's name?

Yes they are getting married but hes your son. You pass the farm through generation's of Kents.

So if Lois & Clark were to get a divorce, Lois would get the farm mostlikely.

Thought it was strange she'd put it in her name.

    Thoughts?

    It makes no sense.

Also, for Thanksgiving (can't remember the name of the episode), why would the General and Lucy show up first at the Kent Farm and not the Talon or a hotel? Their daughter lived at the Talon at that time and just spent lots of time at the farm.

Clark and Lois seemed genuinely surprized to see them so it's not like arrangements were made ahead of time for Thanksgiving dinner to be at Clark's or for anyone to stay at Clark's.

That was so weird to me that it took me out of the story.

Possibly they called the Talon & no one answered. Then called the Daily Planet & couldnt get in touch with her. So they assumed if shes not at work or at home, she must be at the Kent's. The place where she spent many recent years dealing with Clark.

Or maybe she told them weeks prior that they were dating & he assumed she would be there
