I can't remember if they did that for even S7 and S8. Very old school. Damn, I'm going to miss this show. Seems like this episode hit on all cylinders for references to SV's history and maybe CW/WB.

I hope that they release the full Tess & Emil duet somewhere... I loved that they also included it in the background music during the fight sequence at the casino - so we know that they likely recorded the whole song!

Ok - Everyone seems to feel that that was Cassidy Freeman and the guy who plays Emil actually singing the songs. Was it? They were definitely lip syching, but where they lip synching their own voices?

I downloaded the two Swank songs, and they're good but have a slightly different feel to them. I'd love to figure out if it was the actors, or the sound just came through differently from the tv than the downloaded mp3s.

If it were the two actors, does anyone know any resources for getting their version uninterrupted? Or whats the chance they actually recorded the full songs for the show.
