why I think the glasses work

I think the glasses work because when Clark becomes Superman noone thinks Superman has a secret identity he's just an alien who's Superman 24/7. People look at him as a god and Clark acting all mild manner and a little like a coward makes him the last person you would think could be Superman. It's not about appearances it's about personality and behavior and the glasses just add to that.

i agree with that statement, although in this incarnation they procrastinated the issue. in my opinion the glasses should have happened midway through S7 for it to make more sense

I think they should have kept the since whisper maybe not have him wear them all the time just once in a while say there his "reading" glasses since he was so worried about his secret maybe keeping the glasses would help sell that he was normal
