Does anyone know if the painting that Anna and Father Moreau talk about is a real thing (which I would imagine it is)? And, if so, do you know what it's called?

My first guess is no. I am not an expert but most of the Christian paintings I have seen don't have skeletons in them.

I'm not an expert either, but a 50 second bing search yielded nothing. I've never seen it before. Time could tell, like in the SE2 DVD commentary.

But +1 To Steely, it appears to have been painted in an era that didn't portray skeleton bones like that, it's too modern looking.
