great use of speed, superbreath, heat vision, and strength from clark tonight. all looked good. Also the jorel/lara holograms were great. he used freeze breath for awhile.

Holograms and freeze breath were great. They should use freeze breath more in the following episodes.

Zod probably taught him, as he first is seen using it with him in Upgrade.

Well actually he used super breath since 6th season. And has used it in a cooling manner a few times, lois coffee in idol, to freezing metallo.

I think Clark just learned on his own while training in the fortress during the break between season 8-9 becuz we never got an episode of him learning to use it. He just start using in season 9.

I will restate what MKN said. He learned to use it or at least he first used superbreath in Season 6 episode 2 entitled Sneeze. Don't you remember the barn door almost killing Lois after he sneezed or how he put out the fire that almost killed Lex and Lana or even how he used it to blow away the rain clouds that threatened to ruin Clark and Chloe's picnic. The only thing is he's barely used it since, so it feels like he just started using it for the things that the others have mentioned.
