sad to see the talon go. But it was fitting for it to be gone. It hasnt really been needed in the past two yrs. Also the special effects were great with it going boom. It had some good/bad/great moments in the past ten yrs.

It kind of symbolizes how Clark is moving on and letting go of the past. Particularly Lana.

In that case, glad to see it go.

This is exactly how I felt. Very symbolic indeed; especially in an episode that ended with Clark asking Lois's Daddy a "question". The Talon represented a separate identity that Clark has moved away from. I'm not happy or sad about it - it's just something that needed to happen one way or another.
