Chuck's Mom Trustworthy?

Chuck is so wanting to trust his mom.

Personally, people in my past that have hurt/abandoned me, I don't trust them at all.

Do you think Chuck's mom is a good guy? And why do you think Chuck is so willing to trust her?

2 reasons. First and foremost it's his mom and she truly didn't seem to want to abandon him and Ellie. We don't have the full story just yet I don't think.

Also I think Chuck wants to trust his mom because it was pretty much his dad's dieing wish that he find her.

I think Chuck wants his mom to be good because his dad was good.

Both parents left them when they were young. Chuck's dad ended up being a good guy who left to protect them. He wants the same to be true of his mother. He also knows his dad spent the rest of his life looking for his mother, to no avail. Chuck has now found her, but needs her to be good so he'll know his father's work wasn't in vain, and that his life wasn't lost in vain.

I think that in the end, Chuck's mom will be one of the good guys.
