Yeah but if somebody gave you the chance to be with the one you love in multiple lives wouldn't you consider that a good trade off? Sure you may spend a lot of time alone but when you calculate the time you spend together it more then an average lifetime.

Star-crossed could be the thought of how many forces believe the lovers should never be, but the fact remains they are "soulmates" it's destiny.

Hawkman/Hawkgirl are soulmate not matter what forces attempts to tear them apart. They find each other & love each other every lifetime they live.

Clois is same with a twist. Remember Carters's story does mirror Lois & Clark from S4-Present.

CK is from another star & Lois is from earth as as much as Lois & Clark felt this pull to each other in S4 they weren't ready to see each other for what they really are. Both had other relationships in where they felt something missing & were incomplete. The search goes on. It's a time now for them to be together b/c they will grow to be ready & bind the bond to each other.

They will be forces to attempt to break the bond. CK & Lois ways fight for the love. Lori, Lana, Lex, Bruce who ever is in love with Lois or CK at that particular moment does attempt to break the union between Clois but instead it only brings them closer & stronger then ever.

Carter has years of experience & he no longer fight it but just waits until he dies & finally returns to his wife willing.

In the opening to the comic series Blackest Night it was shown it could be quite painful in the last few years they did not get together for years and only after being reunited were the two of them violently brutally killed with their hearts ripped out.

It is more like a cruel fate because they could be together for twenty years or only one conversation.

What is with Lois allowing him to get that close to her in the first place? He was invading her personal space but she didn't even do anything about it until their lips touched. I don't understand why nobody on this show ever stops the act before it happens. You could see it from a mile away that he was going in for the kiss but Lois just let it happen.
