Umm, Superman North, you have the middle symbol upside down.

The diamond is supposed to be on top in the fire symbol.

My guess is that the Kryptonian visitors brought the worm.
The Kawatche Did the drawings. They may have had contact with Kryptonian visitors who might have worn the S. The S stuck in their minds because it was worn prominently by the K. So the Kawatche drew the S on the worm tying it to them. The worm may have been a specimen taken from one of the many worlds these K travelers visited and was left behind by design or by mistake.

On the show the ends of the looped strings are pointed. But this one looks cool.

I don't think it's a looped string.

I think it's a stream between two rocks.

It's like the '...' at the end of something, it shows continuation of the water.
