      God, I love Chuck.

The episode was just so much fun to watch, especially for us fans who have been waiting for Chuck and Sarah to get together for the longest time. It was great to watch their dynamic together, and like Kal-el 26 said, it had somewhat of a Mr and Mrs Smith feel, which was not a bad thing at all. Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski have amazing chemistry, it's just awesome to watch them.

I also liked how Morgan is also becoming a part of the whole team, his pairing with Casey is hilarious.

Side question: Are Sarah Lancaster and Ryan McPartlin leaving the show? I know their characters are going to Africa.. but it would really suck. Lately, they've become a hindrance to Chuck's spy life though, and with them gone, he wouldn't have so much to worry about. I guess there's a pros and cons to the whole thing.

      10 for sure.

No they will get back to Burbank (I think). Ellie is smashing Casey with a frying pan in the promo. Seems like they get in to trouble in Africa and Chuck and Sarah is going there to save them in e17 or maybe even in e16. I doubt they will ever remove Chuck's sister from the series. Maybe Devon but not Ellie.

          That was pretty good.

Three cheers for Chuck and Sarah finally getting together, realizing that they love their spy life and each other, and for the end of the will they / won't they drama for at least one whole episode!

This was a really good episode but I had a couple of problems with it (which we'll get to in a minute).

To start, I can't believe Sarah answered their compartment door with her bra and underwear showing! Sheesh!

Then Chuck flashing (yeah, I was thinking 'how can the CIA let the Intersect go? They can't, so Chuck and Sarah will be hunted, won't they?'), which made me think that no matter what he did or where he went Chuck would still be drawn into spy stuff because of it.

How much did I love Chuck putting on his Chucks (the shoes)?! So cute!

Morgan knowing his friend so well (And Chuck is a DC fanboy? Fitting for a guy who knew both Lana and Superman!) and helping to figure it out (was it me or did Casey look mildly impressed?).

So what exactly were Sarah and Chuck going to do for jobs and/or money after leaving the spy life? Does Sarah have money squirreled away or something?

Chuck can use the Intersect to speak languages? Cool.

Morgan's backpack tipping him over and Casey giving him a shove was so cute!

Jeffster blowing the amp. And then Jeffster unplugged (Jeff wearing glasses=FTW!) was amazing. And was it me or did Lester actually sound pretty good singing that song?

The Canadian girl being the baddie was a nice twist (as was that the bad guy was in Interpol custody), as was Morgan spotting the bogus agents.

The Chuck/Sarah handcuff fight was amazing. They are getting really good at fighting together like that.

The return to Burbank, the General's talk and the stuff with Ellie all excellent.

But aside from the whole 'how could the CIA let them go?' and what they were going to do for money, my other big problem was with (what was IMO) a changed premise.
From the get go Chuck and Sarah couldn't be together because they work together. First he was her handler. Then he was going to be a spy and that meant they couldn't be together. So they had to run away from the spy life in order to date.
Now suddenly it doesn't have to be all or nothing? Now suddenly they can be a couple, be in love and do the spy thing together?

            Um...the hell?
Maybe I'm just confused, maybe I'm not getting it but to me that doesn't add up.
And that kept me from giving it that perfect 10 rating. But otherwise, yeah, this was a great episode.

              About CIA letting them go:
I don’t believe CIA would let them go just like that and that’s why they sent Casey and Morgan to bring them back.

              About their job situation:
Sarah studied at Harvard and Chuck at Stanford. Even if they can’t use their personal merits I’m convinced they could figure out a way to get a decent work.

              About the relationship:
I see your points and they have overused obstacles to keep them apart. That’s way they use this episodes for different resolutions and it would be odd otherwise.
They both think for each other instead of themselves in this episode and make assumptions out from that. The problem is that none of them seemed to know what they really wanted. I mean Chuck always talked about being a normal guy with a normal life in S1 and S2 and we really never bought that. If he turned to a normal life and Sarah was gone forever we always knew he would miss both. But Sarah never knew that was the case. In fact he was so convincing that he turned her to “think” she wants a normal life. They both then evolved and changed their mind but they both thought the other one wanted a normal life.
They couldn’t be together when she was his handler.
They also couldn’t be together during Chuck’s training and Sarah first assumed she had to be more distant than ever because of his emotions. Then she got more scared of his transformation and the last resort when she thought she had lost “her” Chuck was the red test. After that she didn’t want anything to do with him because she had created a bad person out from a great person.
But they have ALWAYS been able to be together when both are equal spies but none of them thought it was possible to have both. I believe we will witness some bumps in the road ahead but they will solve it and be able to have it both ways.

Yeah, they sent Casey and Morgan but they were going to let them go. Which meant they'd have to send other operatives after them and that would mean Chuck and Sarah would spend their lives being hunted by the CIA. Now, I realize Sarah is a kick butt spy who could probably disappear if she wanted to but Chuck's the intersect and I think they would devote their best people to tracking him down. They just seemed so blase about running away, as if they weren't going to be hunted and hiding their whole lives. I guess that's what bothered me most.

I guess there I was thinking that they wouldn't be able to use their "real life" skills (they'd have to create false identities for sure) because that would make them too easy to find. "Oh I know this guy who is great with computers and he has a girlfriend who works as a bodyguard" or whatever would seem a giveaway, to my mind. Maybe that's just me.

Wow, I had no idea that Sarah was a Cancer specialist! Very Funny.

Seriously though, according to her dossier on NBC, she is a Harvard Graduate. Of course there is some debate about whether that's true, or just a falsification. We do know though, that she speaks several languages fluently. I think on the show we've seen russian, spanish and polish. So I think Sarah has a lot more skills than just being a "body guard".

Though I agree that they didn't think through the whole "life on the run" very well at all. Sometimes when you're knee deep in love you don't think straight. I could give you some personal examples, but then I'd just be embarrassing myself.
