thats crazy. wonder what he will do down there. or will he just be sitting there for the rest of the series if he isnt dead. or will there but some power that he will be using to move the island agian.

Desmond like most of the others have come full circle. We first met Desmond in the hatch keeping the EM energy from causing a cataclysmic event by typing the numbers every 108 minutes. My guess is that he will once again play a pivotal role in the EM forces on the island. Based on Whitmore's experiment, it's logical. I doubt it'll be the donkey wheel again but I see Desmond making another sacrifice as he has constantly done. Hopefully he'll find Penny once and for all and finally be rewarded for his sacrifices.
