Are they going somewhere with it? The name Chuck flashed on that seems to be an alias of Casey. If they are not going somewhere with this, it would seem very random to make such a big deal in the middle of intense action.

Yeah, they're bound to make that a bigger deal in future storylines. Either there's just a bigger backstory involving an upcoming, exciting mission that involves Casey's past, or it's something like what you said, which would really shock and surprise me to no end, to be quite honest. I would never expect him to be capable of that...
