A common theme when kryptonite is affecting his mind. There has been many moments from the show that shows him feeling that he wants to kill that person, but his morals are keeping him back and the kryptonite or some kind of influence is trying to force him to do it.

This was an interesting scene. I liked it. I liked that face that Chloe was compelled to protect Clark even from himself.
