  • TW is still playing the farm boy in the city. A farm boy with a super brain should learn more quickly than he has. Whoever wrote or directs each show puts their own stamp on that episode. It's as though everyone is getting a turn to star. Posters complain that TW was not featured enough in the last half of Absolute Justice, he was probably busy directing.

      • Tw don't wanna b superman he has said this multiple times. Google it for proof he had also said he hates the suit , this is why the abormination is matrix Clark ,so give it to some one who does wanna wear the red and blue and respects the source material, smallville is a tv show nothing more ,aimed at 16 year old girls who don't care if they trash the mythos , as for the rest of smallville cast green arrow and Martian manhunter is the only reason I watch it but I still don't wanna see them in a proper superman film they still don't have the star quality to be in a tent pole film . Just say bale did apear as a cameo , tw would look silly next to him , it would be like David hasselhoff and Robert de niro in the same scene

So start as a director, then move into acting?

                  • Backward Galaxy,

I watched the first few episodes of STAS today, Metropolis looks fine. It works for a cartoon. I don't think they could get away with making up countries (Zambia or whatever) in a live action movie. You couldn't make that city in a live action movie without CGI, which is ok, sometimes.

Overall I like the cartoon, it's fun. It's definitely not as good as Smallville thus far, as the villains are hackneyed and there's that annoying repetitive theme song every 45 seconds whenever Superman does something right. Toyman was even more annoying than on SV, and I'm glad SV never had Lobo come on.

BTAS is the far superior show, but I do enjoy the end storyline of STAS.

I do think they could get away with a similar Metropolis in a live action film. It would definitely use CGI, but so did Nolan's Gotham. I don't see how its use would automatically detract from the film's message or entertainment value.

They've had fictional countries in films before.

And Metropolis doesn't have to look as futuristic and high-tech as it does in that show. It could, however, take influence from real life cities, especially in Asia, that have ultra-modern skyscrapers and are almost futuristic-looking.
