This show always have a pet peeve with shocking endings. I never saw that one coming. Amanda is probably the one who saved Lex from turning iced back in the Arctic.

Either Tess was part of Checkmate all this time or she's been going undercover. Either way, it's a very nice addition to her story since she's an original character.
