  • Peter and his new ability

So i see peter has a new ability, lets say peter comes back and he tries to heal hiro wouldn't hiro's power come to him instead of healing hiro?
Unless ufcourse him being healed returned his old ability (if that is how it works) and he doesn't change powers when in contact with hiro.

Season 3 Peter had a hard time adapting to his ability replication by touch so it sort of just automatically take up a power as soon as he touched someone who has a power. But he learned how to adapt to it and that meant he could hold on to the powers if he wanted to even if he touched someone with an ability. Although it's weird to fully support this because.. last episode he touched Emma and he didn't know he took her powers and lost super speed. My best guess is that if the power is relatively new he power will take it and lose the old one, or his power is acting in similar with Hiro in which it acts on its own for one's benefit based on the situation such as Hiro always teleporting to certain places to fulfill a role.

And so to answer your question.. If were assuming Peter still has good control over holding an ability when he wants he should be able to heal Hiro first even if it means touching him without taking his power. Or he can do what he did to the Speedstar (edgar) he used super strength and at the same time he touched him he picked up super speed. So either way works out in which he could heal Hiro and either keep the healing touch or gets Hiro's power.
