I thought in Metallo, they implied that the heart used to power Metallo may have been a test and that they were planning to use it as a power source for some other purpose. If my memory serves me correctly and that's the case, they may have brought it back for development towards that end.

I agree, this was some sort of prototype. But I say bring back Toy Man and not Metallo.

yea i like they are keeping up the ideal mettalo can be reactived so if they do have metallo back during the second half they have already built up the story for it.
