no no no, All of you guys are going off topic and into the "that's not it" realm. If Lucifer is so powerful, why can't he kill 2009 Dean? It can't be because he needs him so that he can take sam as a vessel because if anything killing 2009 Dean would have made 2009 Sam think Dean left just like in the 2014 timeline, so killing 09 Dean would be something Lucifer would want to do so that it would expedite the process in the 2009 timeline as well as the 2014 timeline.
