So question...never read the books. Stefan is a "good" vamp right. Doesn't hunt humans?? And his brother Damon is the "evil" one. Is that right?

I sort of wanted the Elena who wanted to sink her teeth into Stephan the moment she saw him. This Elena's playing it a little to coy for me.
