Thank God many people didn't tune to see this crap. Chloe the hero, Clark blamed for everything again, the justice league betraying each other, Jimmy dying.

This is not the show I fell in love with, this is a show about anti heroes.

            Not good news. Eek.

I have to say, I enjoyed the darker tone of the season, but the finale was just bad.

Superman's story is supposed to be uplifting. Perilous, yes; depressing and angsty, no. Once again, the first half of the season? Uplifting and positive. The second half, dark and depressing. The friggin' world is dark and depressing; we don't need to tune in to SV and see the superhero who is supposed to be optimistic and uplifting getting his heart ripped out and carries the blame for all that goes wrong because he's written to be a ball-less chump who hasn't realized there are no absolutes in life.

The ratings have been falling for everything the last few weeks

                Just Last Night:

"CSI" season finale got the lowest rating in the history of the show

"The Office" finale was it's lowest rated episode in two years.

Grey's Anatomy while doing well, was still down 18% from last year's finale

                And conversely

The Lakers/Rockets game got the highest rating for a basketball game ever on ESPN. Probably doing a ton of damage to Smallville in the L.A. market.

                    Damn. Just... damn.

I know Smallvlle had some stiff competition (I was watching basketball live), but still. That is just... damn.

The last four episode got the worst rating in Smallville history...
Somehow I'm not surprised that Stiletto got the worse ratings...that was really the worst episode of the season. Hell, even I'll admit that. HORRIBLE episode to say the least!

Wow. I'm not surprised though. And what is this about a 10th season? Yeah right...

I am rather surprised that it rated so poorly because people didnt know it was going to suck so bad. Injustice*Beast were much better episodes than this one.
I want the writers, producers, and everyone to get on board with one page and not have the show be cancelled with a crappy ending because everyone was expecting another season. Oh good gracious it will just be our luck that they take the poor ratings to not be caused by crappy writing but because Lana wasn't there.

Maybe Nielsen ratings are on their way out! Fox's "Dollhouse" got a 13 episode renewal with horrible ratings and demos.
