I think the series premiere was the highest rated epsiode of Smallville ever. It was around 8 million I think. But, I have to say having 1,788 users on this site at one time is mindblowing!!

It's exciting see all the buzz about Smallville!!!

Well, I once read the pilot reached 8.4 million viewers, but it was from Wikipedia, so I don't know how accurate that rating is, nor do I know if any other episodes have gone above that.

I'm interested to find that out as well.

One more thing... the server froze up on me too! I have never been so proud to have technical difficulties with this site. If the mass amount of people on the site tonight is any indication of how "Bride" will fare in the over night ratings, I'd say it did very well - certainly better than the premiere - and if it doesn't hit 5 million now, I think it will once the live +7 numbers are factored in.

I'm still hoping it's 5 million over night, though!

I have a doubt, what would happen if the ratings for this epi were more than 6 million?
                  Please someone answer me=D!

Actually the series high was 9.4 million for the episode Lineage in Season 2. Season 2 had the highest rating of all season.
Here's a link to see the comparison between seasons in terms of rating

                    hope the link will work!

^ nothing, just a proud smallville fans! And myb this could wake up CW to pay more attention to their highest rating show. Add up more budget for more 'super' episode.

The ratings will probably go up this episode.

                              Looks about average.

And the CW capped off the evening with aging Smallville (#5: 3.1/ 5) and companion Supernatural (#5: 2.3/ 4)

                              Around the 4.75 mil. mark.

^^They always have to add in the adjective "aging" to Smallville.
