meh at the others. Peter has been whiny, Nathan hasnt done anything, Mohinder is just crazy, Hiro is completely uninteresting. Matt is improving, but until this episode he hasnt done anything that interesting. H&G just seems to be there. Dont really know Arthur that well yet, but he's growing on me.

Girls:
Elle. Crazy, snarky, psychopath, and incredible depth in the character. Also, she's played by KRISTIN BELL, one of the most awesome people in the omniverse.
Daphne. Also snarky, extremely fun, and also deep.
Angela. Fascinatingly grey.
Sandra. Almost always an amazingly powerful character to watch.
Nikki+Jessica, season 1. The relationship between these two was great, and the possibilities of what Jessica was were fascinating, before they ruined them in season 2.

Guys
HRG. He's able to thrive in a world were people can go nuclear with a snap of the fingers, because he's just that awesome. And no one messes with those he loves.
Sylar. His journey from struggling against, to embracing, to rejecting his nature throughout the three seasons has been so great. And season 2 proved that he didn't need stolen powers to be awesome.
Claude. Two words: Christopher Eccleston
Nathan. He is one of the pillars of the show, being at one time one of the most flawed, and most heroic of all the Heroes.
Hiro. He hasn't completely lost his greatness. Yet.

Overall
1. HRG, my favorite character on television
2. Elle, after HRG my favorite character on the show
3. Sylar because he's Sylar
Really hard to choose these last two slots..
4. Angela, Sandra, and Nathan are all contenders. We don't get to see enough of Sandra, so I guess she's out. I guess I'm going to have to choose Nathan, because he's so much more important to the show's ongoing structure.
5. And so for fifth we have Sandra, Angela, Daphne, NJ, Claude, and Hiro. Sandra is out of the aformentioned reason again, and Claude for the same. NJ S1 was great, but went downhill completely in S2, so they're out for overall. Hiro was probably my second favorite character S1, but the retardation of the development towards FHiro makes me toss him out. So it comes down to Angela and Daphne. They're really close to being equal, but right now I'm just enjoying Daphne more. In fact, as we see more of her she might rise on the list to slot 4.
