[quote=JAMHEXXX;4098228]The CW capped off Thursday with veteran Smallville (#5: 2.9/ 5), which dipped by 15 percent from one year earlier) and Supernatural (#5: 2.3/ 3). Is Robin the Boy Wonder heading to the CW Thursday next season?[/quoW
What exactly does that mean? I've never really understood the ratings...

*sigh* They really don't have to tell us every week that it's dropped from a year ago. I'm pretty sure, most of the network shows have dropped this year.

It sounds like they are hinting, one of the Thurs. shows will be replaced, and they are doing better than 90210 and GG.

Anyway, is 2.9/5, better than last weeks 2.8/5? It looks to be Is that a compound fraction?

So the Demo's are going up? YAY!

I hope the overall ratings went up too!

Are they kidding?Smallville is the top rated show for the CW and Robin should take it's place?Except if they are talking about Supernatural.

It would appear to be better. How much, I have no idea. Also important to note is that the World Series was on last night, and even if the game didn't do a huge number, since it's with two teams that don't get a lot of national attention and it was just the first game, it should've still given Smallville more competition than it usually gets. Look out next week because if the World Series makes it to a game 7, it will air next Thursday. That will kill Smallville, along with all of the other programs on that day.

I'm pretty sure that if they removed a show for Robin, it would be Supernatural.

Should move Supernatural to another night, but whatever.

Smallville and Robin back to back would probably be a solid ratings pull.

It worked for Buffy and Angel.

                  1. Smallville - 4.18 million
                  2. One Tree Hill - 3.47
                  3. Gossip Girl - 3.31
                  4. America's Next Top Model (Recap) - 3.21
                  5. Supernatural - 3.06
                  6. The Game - 1.81
                  7. Everybody Hates Chris - 1.79
                  8. 90210 (R) - 1.73
                  9. 90210 (R) - 1.65
                  10. America's Next Top Model (R) - 1.35
                  11. Priviliged (R) - 1.22
                  12. Valentine - 0.74
                  13. Easy Money - 0.71
                  14. In Harm's Way - 0.62

And here's how Smallville currently ranks in total average viewership for the season (not counting repeats and recaps):

                  1. Smallville (5 episodes) - 4.17
                  2. America's Next Top Model (7) - 3.95
                  3. One Tree Hill (6) - 3.38
                  4. Gossip Girl (6) - 3.37
                  5. 90210 (7) - 3.30
                  6. Supernatural (5) - 3.21
                  7. Priviliged (5) - 2.24
                  8. Everybody Hates Chris (3) - 1.85
                  t. The Game (3) - 1.85

I think that Smallville will probably have to take second this week, since ANTM had 4.44 million viewers last night. But, I think "Prey" will still do pretty well. It's coming off of a good episode, and the trailer was great. It also has the MM, so I think we'll stay above four million again.
                  I love these numbers!

Martian Manhunter was not promoted at all on the CW; he's too old for their target audience, more fools them. While the fast numbers are interesting, I'll wait for finals.

Kind of shocking that America's Next top Model did so well.

That's crazy they would say that.

A show about Robin will never get better ratings than Smallville.

If they were talking about Supernatural that would make more sense.

Yes, that's the overnight. We may see another increase in the final rating, just like last week with "Committed".
